Born Mansour Ssemanda · September 2, 1989 · Entebbe, Uganda
King Saha is one of Uganda’s most commanding and beloved artists — a singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur whose journey from humble beginnings in Entebbe to headlining sold-out concerts is a testament to raw talent, relentless work, and the power of authenticity. Blending Afrobeat, Zouk, and R&B into a sound entirely his own, he has become a defining voice of his generation in East Africa.
His musical instincts surfaced early — as lead vocalist of the Mugonga Church Choir at St. Agnes Primary School, he won a prestigious folk song competition that earned him a full bursary for his secondary education. After sharpening his craft as a backup singer under the legendary Jose Chameleone at Leone Island Music Empire, he launched his solo career with the 2014 breakthrough hit Mulirwana — and never looked back.
